the following bullet points highlight my main job duties and accomplishments at the a's
1) Email Marketing
2) Paid Advertising
- Over the past year, I oversaw the Oakland A's email and marketing calendar. With the Director of Marketing, I wrote copy, approved graphics, and tracked open, click, and ROI rates.
2) Paid Advertising
- During the 2021MLB season, I assisted with the planning and implementation of tradition & digital advertising campaigns. After which, I tracked and reviewed all paid analytics and suggested best practices to optimize goals, including fan engagement, follower growth, and ROI.
3) Project Management
- While I was still on the A's sales team, project management was a large focus for my day-to-day tasks. I acted as the main point of contact between the sales department and all other departments in the A's, mainly focusing on email campaigns, day of event logistics, and new sales campaigns. One of our most successful sales campaigns that I spearheaded (prior to COVID) was our Mini-Suite Flash Sale. This $99/person deal was the first time we've ever sold suites through an online portal and proved to be very successful (selling 116 suites in just 2 weeks). Below you can find the creative piece that I along with the marketing team put together.

4) Theme Nights
5) Prospecting & Appreciation Event Management
- Previously, I oversaw the A's Theme Nights throughout the year from the inception, sales efforts, and game day execution. Our theme night business has grown significantly over the past 4 years; growing from 14 events in 2017 to 45 events in 2019. During the 2019 season our theme night business accumulated for 53,412 tickets and over 20% of our group sales revenue.\
5) Prospecting & Appreciation Event Management
- In the past (prior to the COVID-19 pandemic) I led all ticket sales prospecting and appreciation events. We normally host 1-2 prospecting events per month (ranging from local youth baseball leaders to high end corporate clients). In addition, I oversee our largest appreciation event of the year; Group Leader Batting Practice. This event is hosted at the Oakland Coliseum and gives our top 150 group clients a chance to take Batting Practice on the A's field followed by a lunch and panel discussion with the A's leadership and local radio personalities. More info here.
6) Sales

7) Group Sales Internship Program
- During the 2019 season I implemented the first ever Group Sales Internship program. I successfully hired and trained 4 full-time interns to help both in office and on game days with group sales needs. More info here.
8) Spring Training Group Sales
- Last year (2019), I helped oversee our group sales business for A's Spring Training in Mesa, AZ. I planned & hosted a prospecting event at Hohokam Stadium in AZ, which was attended by 129 current and perspective clients. I also implemented three new theme nights; Nurse's Night, Career Education Day, and First Responders Day. Career Education day as our most successful bringing in over 600 tickets (all brand new businesses) for the A's. More info here.
9) Panels & Speaking Engagements
- During my time in the Bay Area, I've been lucky to host and moderate a number of panels for the A's; including, WISE (Women in Sports Entertainment) Panel, Oakland Softball Women Empowerment Panel, WiST (Women in Sports Technology) Panel, and finally our annual Mental Health Awareness Panel. I've also represented the A's on panels across other sports teams in the Bay, including the Santa Cruz Warriors' Women in Sports Dialogue on Mentoring. More info here and here.
